Rusted Bench

rusted bench.jpg

This brown rusted bench
Reminds me of you.
How we sat together
Hands in hands
Near the lake shore of Ravi
Our cold breaths colliding with our passion
In the month of hot April
Looking over the horizon.
But as I stole my glance from it
And looked into your heavenly eyes
I realized that I was born to look in them.
In those eyes
I saw someone
Staring back at me
Breathing into infinity
For in that second I found myself
For in that single second
I traveled into myself
For in that moment
I was completely Free

I’m Sorry

I love you, and
I’m not sorry for that.
I’m sorry that your feelings are hurt,
I’m sorry that I broke your trust,
I’m sorry that my promises were null,
I’m sorry for all those tears that rolled down your warm dimpled cheeks,
I’m sorry that you’re lonely in amidst a crowded room,
I’m sorry that you had to walk this road alone,
I’m sorry that death set us apart,
I know that you’ll never be mine,
I know that we’ll never be together,

and this time I was the victim of the fate,
I’m sorry that this distance cannot be lessened,
I’m sorry for everything that I should be sorry for. But
I was born to love you, and you alone,
in this world, and the world hereafter; and
I’m not sorry
that I fall in love with you..

Freedom of thoughts

Just like the tides of sea,
Who flatters up and down like a waving flag,
that reaches up the sky and then falls like house of cards,
Who brings sounds from the depth of the sea,
to the stones and to the sand on the shore of the sea,
telling them about the freedom from silence,
As they fight for their freedom from the twilight,
Just like the freedom of my thoughts

Just like force of gravity,
that pulls you to its deepest soul,
bending you to your scarred knees,
with a single force, never letting you go,
tying you down with a force of depression,
there is a possibility for anti-gravity space,
As they fight for their freedom from swamp of singularity,
Just like the freedom of my thoughts

Just like a jaguar wind,
who rushes by my ear with a soundless wish,
Conveying the silent love of two distant lovers,
Carrying the earthly crunch of rustling of fallen leaves,
Scattering the unheard woe of pride and prejudice,
Dispersing the ashes of the ashes that will born again,
As they fight for their freedom from judgement,
Just like the freedom of my thoughts

Just like the darkest hour,
that hail above the heads of all,
Cursing us through the ashes of the hell,
Breaking us by the hollowness of a dry cry,
Vain goes all the hopes of light,
Disappearing all the wisdom of conscious,
As they fight for their freedom of Light,
Just like the freedom of my thoughts

 Just like a caged bird,
Who wished to sing in an open world,
Where the sun goes timid,
Where the moon turns stale,
Where the wind grace swings,
Where the atmosphere smells of spring,
As they fight for their freedom of oppression,
Just like the freedom of my thoughts

Just like a thousand wishes,
I also have only one wish,
To live in the world of serene peace,
Where one find solace in a stranger eye,
Where black and white have the same rights,
Where there is no misery, no fear, no hate, no judgement,
Where each and every one of us is free from chains,
As they fight for their freedom of freedom,
Just like the freedom of my thoughts
